Clyde View is in the small village of Sandbank on Holy Loch

Clyde View

We moved to Sandbank in December 2019 after falling in love with the area on a visit earlier in the year. We were drawn here by the fabulous combination of sea, mountains, hills and forests right on our doorstep! The view continually changes with the tide – as does the birdlife, with curlews, oystercatchers, golden eye and wigeon among our most frequent visitors.

Guests are welcome to enjoy the garden, which is sheltered beneath a rhododendron-clad hillside and planted with shrubs, trees and flowers, promising a spectacle of colour in the spring and summer. You might like to relax on the top ‘terrace’, with its view across the loch and mountains, or make use of the barbecue area on a warm evening.

The dining room is also available to guests throughout the day and evening and there are plenty of games, puzzles, books and more for your use.

There is off-road parking at the front of the house.

Please note: There are a number of steps up to the front door and all bedrooms are on the mid or first floor, accessible by stairs only.
