‘FULL MARKS‘

This place is ideally situated to give you beautiful views when you sit down for breakfast. That first meal of the day offers excellent value and without doubt sets you up for the day. I was very impressed with the storage in our room, which is especially important when you are staying for several days and even empty suitcases didn’t hinder your movements in the room. Even more important to myself is the storage availability in the bathroom which is well thought through. Helen and Nigel are a delightful couple and they do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We are hoping to visit again as soon as possible.

Nigel and Helen are fantastic hosts, so warm and welcoming! The room was fantastic, very homey and comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities in the room were also fab. With breakfast, you couldn’t ask for better, the variety and portion sizes were absolutely brilliant and completely delicious and you can’t beat the view that comes with it all. Worth every penny and more. We would 100% come back and fully plan on coming back. You will feel like you are staying with friends or family. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough. I was so nervous about staying in a B&B by myself, but Helen and Nigel’s kind nature made it easier for me to stay. They have been very hospitable and cooperative with demands. They did not leave out any detail. The breakfast was well made and just the right portion. They were very informative and thoughtful about giving directions to the B&B. The B&B itself gives a very homely feeling. I liked the idea of sharing the dining/lounge room with the other residents. Wonderful hosts

A lovely stay

Fantastic B&B, friendly owners and a beautiful view!
Clyde View is easy to find and overlooks Holy Loch. It’s well situated, not far from the ferry terminal and is on the A815 to head further northwest. Helen and Nigel are lovely and made me feel welcome despite the challenging times. The room I stayed in was spotlessly clean (as a previous 5* housekeeper it’s to that standard) and the bed was comfy. I really liked the little touches of a chocolate and hand sanitiser. The breakfast table set up was beautiful, the breakfast was delicious. Really brightened my morning. Overall I will definitely stay at the Clyde View again.
